Who we are

Ross the Roofer ("we", "us") is a roofing contractor based in Toronto, Ontario. We are committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you contact us through this website, by phone or by email, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, phone number, property address and details about your roofing project. Our website also collects standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) through server logs and, if enabled, analytics tools.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange consultations, proposals and work
• To fulfil contracts, warranties and maintenance plans
• To comply with legal, insurance and safety obligations
• With your consent, to send occasional seasonal roofing advice; you can opt out at any time

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (for example, our email host and, where applicable, engineers, heritage consultants or financing partners engaged on your project) and where required by law.

Retention & security

Project and warranty records are retained for the life of the warranty. Enquiry information that does not lead to a project is deleted within 24 months. Information is stored on access-controlled systems within Canada or with providers offering equivalent protection.
