About the estimate
How accurate is an estimate made from satellite imagery?
The measurements are accurate to within a few percent, because they are taken from the same aerial data surveyors use. What the estimator cannot see is the condition of the deck underneath, the state of your flashings or how your attic is ventilated. That is why the number is a range and why we confirm it on site before anyone signs anything.
Is the price binding?
No. It is an honest range to help you budget. Our binding number is the fixed-price proposal that follows a site visit, and it is the one we hold ourselves to.
Will I get sales calls?
You will get your estimate and one follow-up from a roofer asking whether you would like a site visit. If you say no, that is the end of it.
What if my roof is complicated?
Mansards, turrets, multiple dormers and low-slope sections are all things the estimator handles poorly and we handle well. Call us instead and we will price it properly.
